About Gosana Cultural and Nature Park
Gosana Culture and Nature Park is the closest nature park to Kilifi
town - North Coast of Mombasa, Kenya. The Park is a multi-faceted
jewel, often overlooked by safarigoers, despite offering the
opportunity to explore a beguiling diversity of habitats within a
few hours.
The Park stated as a rescue centre for small and rare wild animals.
Currently the park is inhabited by inquisitive blue monkeys and
colourful turacos and trogons. Pairs of wide-eyed dik-dik dart
into scrubby bush like overgrown hares on spindly legs. Many species
of colourful birds inhibits the green forest of native indigenous
trees in the park. Guinea fowls, ostriches, hawks, colourful
weaverbirds, dik-dicks and antelopes are easily sported while
at the Parks Restaurant.

ACCESS
• By Road: This park is accessible via tarmac road from Kilifi town
(5kms) on the Mombasa/Malindi highway or Kilifi Bay Beach Hotel.
• By Air: Moi Interneational Airport
CLIMATE
• Temperature ranges from 20-300 c and rainfall from
200mm – 700 mm
• Two rain seasons: Long rains – March & June & short rains – Nov/
December.
SAFARICARD REQUIRED?
At present the park does not operate on the smartcard system. Entry
is by cash only (KShs or US $)
